I think Breaking Bad is one of the best series on TV ever. There were 62 episodes that aired from January 2008 to September 2013. All were set in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
When I shot Utah's Natural Bridges National Monument, I flew into Albuquerque and took a self-guided tour of four locations in the series.
Walter White's Home
The owners were at home and in rare form as far as I could tell. They were sitting in lawn chairs in front of their garage "greeting" visitors. In 30 minutes, there were four carloads of people that stopped at the house. A group from Australia said the show was a hit there.
Saul Goodman's Offices
Saul's offices were in this shopping center.
Walter and Skylar's Car Wash
They used this business to launder the $80 million Walter made in just a couple of years.
Gus' Laundry Business
This is where Walter cooked the meth. A state of the art lab with millions of dollars in equipment.
